DO NOT USE THESE SOCKS ON YOUR BABY!

So my MIL bought my daughter some socks from Walmart called the Growing Sock. I guess the point is the sock is supposed to grow with the baby's foot so you don't have to purchase socks as often..? The sock states it's for 0-24months and came in a pack of 6 (I think..i already threw them all away). BUT my husband put them on our 4 month old daughter last night and then slipped her into her Baby Merlins Magic Sleep Suit(it's a lifesaver btw🙌🏼) and when she woke up this morning I went to change her, took her socks off and saw this! The socks were cutting her circulation off to the point of bruising😢 my husband and I feel so bad but she doesn't seem to be bothered at it at all, thank god! I know we should've known they were tight on her but who would seriously think of that happening?!
