Help!!! 40weeks and being induced!

So my due date is tomorrow and when I went to the doctor today, we had to do an ultrasound to see where he was because he couldn't feel the baby's head. He's head down but not far enough down. He scheduled me for an induction next Tuesday and I'm to start with cirvidil. I'm terrified at the thought of c section but says if I don't have him by next Wednesday, the day following the start of cirvidil, I'll have to get a c section. Any success stories after being induced and avoided c section?
