I'm 39 weeks I have yet to lose my mucus plug at least that I know of, usually I always wipe and look afterwards. No bloody show or any bleeding. Doctor did a cervical check at 37 weeks 4 days due to BH contractions and pain in my pelvis. He said my cervix was thinning but not open yet. Baby has been head down since week 32 and hasn't changed position and when doctor checks his head is pretty low. I see my doctor this Thursday. Should I discuss about not losing my plug or anything? Can you be dialated without losing it yet? With lack of progress I fear I'll need to be induced which my doctor does after you hit 40 weeks and no labor. My son is so active all day and all night he has not slowed down in movement, it's like he doesn't want to come out. Need advice! I've tried walking (but my feet and toes are so swollen it's uncomfortable), Red Raspberry Leaf Tea, birthing ball etc. no luck....
