Did getting your membranes stripped put you into labor?

I'm 40 + 2 today & had my membranes stripped (super uncomfortable btw 😩) anyways, I was wondering if it put any of you ladies into labor. I'm a FTM and I'd really like for this baby to make his presence haha. I have had lots of cramping and spotting here & there. Is there anything else I should do to get things going? Thanks in advance 🤗

I had mine done yesterday. Slight cramping yesterday, lots of contractions and cramping today plus back pain. Oy! I also lost my mucus plug/had my bloody show. This is my first so I don't know if this is the real deal or not just kind of waiting to see what happens.

I had mine done on Monday, I lost my plug the day after. But still no labor. I'm due Friday so fingers crossed he's on time!! :)

Do you have to be dilated for this? My dr hasn't even offered this to me...

I had mine stripped Friday and have had cramps, back pain and mucus plug loss ever since. Still pregnant and annoyed. Being induced Thursday. Wish it helped :(

I had membranes stripped with my first and went into labor same day.. I was 40+5days.

Had one this past Tuesday at 38+3, well 3 days later and nothing but I lot of cramping and Braxton hicks and yesterday started having a LOT of mucous discharge.
