Anyone IUGR babies?

I'm 38 weeks and baby is 10% in weight (5lbs) but passes all his other tests so we are inducing at 39w. Anyone else have a small growing baby and getting induced soon??

I'm currently 37 weeks and 3 days, little man is measuring in the 6th percentile at 5 lbs 8 oz. Every single test has come back normal -- even checked blood flow in the cord and fluid levels. I begin twice weekly NST's tomorrow until birth. The doctor has scheduled us for induction at 39 weeks and 2 days, but I'm thinking of refusing. I don't want to be on pitocin unnecessarily. I started week 36 at 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced and -2 position; now, he's almost 3 cm dilated, 80% effaced and 0 position. He knows what he's doing if they would just let him be!

My daughter has been consistently 2 weeks behind since about 20 weeks. I've been sent to a specialist and they said everything is perfectly normal, she's just a smaller baby. I'm getting induced at 40 weeks, next Friday. At 36 weeks they said she was weighing 5.4 pounds. But then at 37 weeks she was weighing 6 pounds!

Getting induced on Tuesday at 39+3. Baby is 10th percentile at 5lb 2oz at 38 weeks

Last Thursday at 37 weeks were were told that she was in the 13th percentile, 5lb 13oz. One last ultrasound tomorrow and then being induced early Monday morning.

Yes! We've had ultrasounds each week because baby was measuring in the 3rd percentile, now in the 7th percentile (progress!) everything else has checked out just fine, he's just small. As long as everything seems to be okay and no signs of distress, Dr will let me continue with the pregnancy until I go into labor on my own

If baby is already measuring small why would your dr want to induce you before 40 weeks? Keep baby baking for as long as possible!
