feeling like a let down mother

Andrea • Est. 1994. Engaged. Mummy. Animal lover. Rugby lass.
My LB was born in August'16 and the midwives noticed straight away that he has tongue tie. They told me to get it sorted straight away as he may struggle to breast feed and it can cause problems in the future. They said they would refer me to another hospital that is "in my area" as i chose to have my son in another hospital because I didn't like the one in my area. The health visitors are also from that horrid hospital and they've been nothing but nasty! Making me feel like I'm a useless mother as I can't breast feed due to the blistering and blood and saying "he'll grow out of the TT" which I know is rubbish as a friend of mine only got her daughters TT sorted at the age of 7 and she had to be put under general anaesthetic also trying to imply that I'm suffering with PND! But they then said they wouldn't deal with his tie as he's now bottle fed, but he's still struggling to feed as milk just pours out the side of his mouth and it can be half the bottle! I took him to the GP and she referred me to the same awful hospital and they rejected the referral! The audacity!! Has anyone been in the same situation and what has happened? Thanks in advance! Xxx
