Is it fair for your SO to have "baby fever" and talk about "putting a baby inside you" when you get intimate, and then turn around and completely change their mind when you get really serious about it? I have been wanting to try to conceive since I got married at 19. I've waited 5 years. Now I'm very serious about it, and I feel like my SO is being unreasonable and won't even talk about it.

Instead of thinking about this as a fairness issue, I'd focus on understanding why his feelings have changed. People are allowed to change how they feel about things-- I doubt he's trying to annoy you. So ask him: is there something going on right now in your lives that makes him feel like this isn't a good time? Is he open to having kids in the future? Is he doubting your relationship? Etc.

I think if u are serious u should tell him to stop doing that cause it brings false hopes up.. my husband and I BOTH used to do that and we always changed our minds last minute.. until one night... on a cold winter night.. we got carried away.. and bam 💥 a baby was made 🙊 #oops
