The 5 Ss: 
Swaddle (tight arms, loose knees),
Shushing (as loud as baby cries, can try vacuum or hairdryer),
Stomach/side (not for sleeping, just calming in your arms), 
Swing (can be on your knees, in your arms or in a baby swing, start vigorous and ease as baby clams), and lastly, 
Sucking (comfort breastfeeding, pacifier). 
The book/website happiest baby on the block can give more detail on them - lifesavers.

My friend took her colic baby to a chiropractor. I heard it made a huge difference.  Worth a try if insurance covers it.

Gas drops. Gerber soothe formula. Soothing sounds. Rocking/cuddling. Sometimes there's nothing you can do! My son cried for 1-2 hours nightly from about 3 weeks to 3 months.

This is weird but my mom said that running the vacuum always calmed my sisters when they were really bad with colic. It was the noise. An olds wives tale i guess but it worked for her.
