Newborn size diapers or size 1?

I'm very confused. I know some moms get their newborn size 1 is there any difference. I want to know what size I should get before getting them.

We used newborn diapers for a month, my baby was 7 pounds, 10 ounces at birth. I always see so many people online saying not to buy newborn clothes or diapers, that you won't need them, but i've never actually known anyone who had a baby and went straight to 0-3 month clothes or size 1 diapers when they came home from the hospital. I know there are a few people who really had big babies who didn't need newborn stuff, but you'll  most likely need them, even if it is for a few weeks or so.

Never buy newborn pampers they grow out of them too quick just take some from the hospital when you leave

I brought home the leftover newborn diapers from the hospital and then went through 2 small packs of newborn before moving up to size 1

- If you have a baby shower usually you will get enough NB diapers to last you so most people just buy other sizes since babies are not in NB pampers for long.

I only bought size 1 thinking they would fit but I was so wrong! My baby was small so the size one were way to big on him. We ended up going through 3 big boxes of nb before the size 1 fit. I'd probably suggest gettibg a small thing of newborn and then buying more of which ever size you need. It will all depend on whether you give birth to a 6lb baby or a 10lb baby

I used newborn clothes and diapers for all my babies and it was still to big for them but I had tiny babies around 6 pounders (: just dont get a lot of newborn diapers. Just get one small box of newborn and not much of size one either because they grow out of them pretty fast too (:

I haven't bought any newborns I was given a box but being 32 weeks and them saying per us he's 5.5lbs and could be 1 or 2 pounds off more or less  I don't know if he'll even fit in them but it never hurts to have one or 2 packs unopened you can always take them back.

My little guy only fit into newborn diapers for 3-4 days. I would buy a few because he was a big baby and even he used them for a bit.
