shooting pains?

Does anyone else have shooting pains in their cervix/vagina? Lol
I am 39 weeks this Monday and I am experiencing shooting pains when ever my little one moves. I get shooting pains that go down into my vagina! 
I am beyond over it.,

Is this abnormal feeling? Is baby getting ready to come? It feels like he is head butting my vag lol

Any advice is welcome :) I see my doctor Monday

I've had this the last 4 weeks. I'm 38+3. Google "lightening crotch". Sounds crazy but it's a thing.

Yes it hurts so bad! I asked my midwife about it last time I saw her, she said it's normal when the baby is low

Yep had since 36 ish weeks, now 39.5.. can indicate baby's head beginning to drop and engage.

I definitely didn't feel this when I was pregnant with my first. However, I have been feeling it in these later weeks with my second.

Yes 😖 I get these and some days are worse than others. Some days literally every step I take gives me a sharp stab. And definitely worsen when she is moving a lot.

Yes I hear it's called lightning crotch.. omg worst pain ever..
Makes me have to crawl or just take deep breaths in and out  to catch my breath

Yes!! My doula said to try cat/cow and wide knee child's pose- uses gravity to help baby pull away from the cervix a bit. It usually helps!

It's normal and nothing you can do but change positions hoping little one will too.
