How is age viewed in media?

I am curious...How is age viewed in the media? As part of our culture I feel it is necessary for a woman to be pregnant or have children by a certain age...do you agree? I am 29 with no children as of right now and I'm constantly being asked when am I going to have some kids?!! It's quite irritating honestly because everyone around me has at least one child...I'm not even 30 yet. I feel society has somewhat pushed the younger generation into early parenthood just because other people are doing it. Don't get me wrong, I salute young parents, I just personally wanted to wait until I was ready...
