plugged milk duct

I was so shocked when my 3 week old had a 7 HR stretch of sleep at night! Half a day later I started getting a tender left breast and I thought "oh crap.. now I'll pay for that long stretch with no nursing or pumping". Sure enough, by nightfall last night I had body aches, 102.6 fever, and felt like I was hit by a bus. Horrible timing as today we had a wedding that my husband was standing up in and my 2.5 year old was the flower girl for. Mix that with 103 temp this morning, periods of beading sweat and bone chilling chills, with round the clock ibuprofen and Tylenol... i was dreading today. Thanks to my wonderful family all went well and I felt decent during the wedding and am currently back home in bed with a 101 fever after round the clock meds. Anyone have these symptoms with just plugged ducts? I know they say when there are systemic symptoms it's mastitis... but I have no hard spot, redness or streaking on my breast... just a tender area. Everyone wants me to go to the walk in for abx but I had these symptoms with my first daughter twice and it cleared up on its own after 2 days.
