feeling like shit

so yesterday was my boyfriends birthday,, im not working right now so i couldn't give him anything 😔 we went out to eat dinner and came home and watched a movie and "sex" lol okay tmi.... but still i feel sad because i wanted to buy him something 😭 he said it was fine that as long as i was with him... should i feel guilty)? and ashamed???😭 i told him i will buy him something later.... but he didn't even get anything for his birthday... hes 26 now.... why do i feel so sad and guilty?????????😥
