When to have baby shower?

FTM due March 29; when is a good time frame for the shower? When did You have yours? Do you wish you had it sooner or later?

Had mine during my 27th week. Made me feel like there was still plenty of time for exchanges and returns, leisurely set up the nursery, put together items needing assembled, and to wash and organize all things.

I had mine when I was 6 months. It was the best decision ever because I was not only able to set up the whole room and have more energy than I would later on, but I had plenty of time to buy anything else I needed and be ready super early!

I'm due Dec 19 and I had my shower Nov 5. I thought that was the perfect time because it still gave me enough time to set up everything I got at my shower and buy things I didn't get that I need/want. If you're due in March I would have it toward the middle/end of Jan

I will be 32 weeks at mine! I think anywhere in the 30-35 weeks range is a good idea as babies can come early and you also won't want to be organizing and shopping in your last few weeks!

I'm due March 6th, and I was just told today that the shower will be in early February. I personally think that's late (I requested January). Every time I pick something up for the baby, someone invariably gets me one of the same thing, so I've tried not to get too much. Which means that I may have less than a month to get together any other baby basics after the shower, and I know I'll be tired by then, and want it all done. But my in-laws got their act together and are actually planning it (they are extremely spontaneous, and last minute people, so I'm pretty impressed) so I don't want to yell too much.

I am having mine December 10th (due 2/25/2017).  So I will be 29 weeks (6 months). I didn't want it too close to my due date (personal preference), and wanted time to get the rest if the baby items and set up the nursery.
