am I the only person with terrible trust issues ?

My trust is soooo fucked up. I dont believe shit a guy says to me. Sometimes I feel like my trust issues get in the way of me getting  what i deserve. But honestly I'd rather miss out than get played again.

I've been there.  Take a step back from guys and focus on yourself.  The right guy will be patient and understanding.

I've had trust issues before that stemmed from spite. My previous fiancé had them to the point where he was abusive: very controlling, made me send him my location and picture when I arrived/left a place, made me video call him or text him and if I didn't text in a few minutes from his last reply he'd demand to know what I was doing. And I never even thought about cheating on him once because I was so in love... or so I thought.

I broke it off after a year and I have no issues anymore. It's okay to distrust until someone earns your trust, but don't let it control you or your SO. ❤️
