Miscarriage & Morning Sickness
Hi,
I am 38 and have been ttc for 19 months. Well... technically we have been pregnant twice within those 19 months, but no baby yet. The first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. I am now pregnant again, but after my last scan, the dr told me I would be miscarrying again soon, as there was no heartbeat and the baby isn't growing along with the schedule it should be following.
I should be 9 weeks 3 days, but GS is measuring 7 wks 1 day. He gave me medicine to assist when the miscarriage begins, but told me not to take it until the bleeding actually starts.
So, the past two days I have been having morning sickness. This is the part that confuses me so much. Why am I having morning sickness if the baby isn't growing, and I am expected to have a miscarriage? Shouldn't hcg levels be going down?
I am sorry for the wordy post, I am just not sure how to explain without the details.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Why would I be STARTING to have morning sickness NOW, when baby has stopped growing & I am expected to have a miscarriage?
Thank you, in advance, for any help or advice. ❤️
