My first iui procedure is scheduled for January

Me and my husband have been seeing a fertility doctor for quite some time now because unfortunately my husband had testicular cancer and is unable to have children ( he's alive and well and that's all I care about) we picked out a donor and have had all the tests done . I am praying that all goes well and I'll get pregnant the first time. Has anyone else had an iui done and conceived the first time?
