🚨🚨 11 weeks fever 101.4??

This is my second child that's why I'm not rushing him to the doc. But I just took his tempt rectal n it's 101.4 I'm going to give in 30min n take it again.. he's 11 weeks .. what would u do? Call doc asap.. wait.. tylenol.. ??

Under 6 months anything over 100.4 warrants a trip to the ED.. 11 weeks is to young to give your babe Tylenol without calling the Doc or on call nurse. I'm a pedi nurse and I'd be high tailing it to the ED if my babe had that temp. Good luck!

My daughter was my 2nd and she had a fever of 101.2, I gave her Tylenol every 5yrs and took her temp every 2hrs and by the evening I took her to the er because her temp wouldn't go down past 99.8 even with the Tylenol. I took her to the ER, she was 5w3d old and turned out she had meningitis. Only symptom was the fever.

Same as you! Wait re-take, Tylenol, extra Loves, and call Ped in the morning. Of course, go in ASAP if symptoms get severe or fever continues to rise even with Tylenol. Poor Baby and Poor Mommy. A sick lil one is no fun!

Thanks guys took him to er .. they couldn't find anything m  no ear Infecyion.. clean lungs..no uti.. guess just viral

Prob an ear infection.id take him to urgent care.Give tylenol as well😊👍
