When is it safe to have sex with my boyfriend?..Tomorrow makes a week ive had the mirena inserted..
No spotting just minor cramps now
But i was suppose to start my period but i guess not anymore.

According to my Dr, if you had your IUD placed on one of the days of your actual period, you can have sex literally any moment after the insertion. It is effective immediately, in that case. If you had it inserted outside of your regular period (like a week or so after you stopped bleeding) a week is usually the recommended time frame to wait to have sex, and if you do have sex within that week to use a condom. And of course if you're still sore or feeling gross, wait a bit longer till your body feels back to normal!
