Worth Keeping?

I got this at my baby shower today. It has gotten great reviews, but I hadn't planned on using a bassinet. Anybody have this one or one similar? Should I keep it? Or exchange and put the amount towards the Playard we want?

Well if you didn't want a bassinet I'd say take it back and get what you wanted :)

If you choose not to keep it then donate it but, it is great for newborns and is recommended.

I had this bassinet! I really loved it because it has the vibration mode! My baby would fall right to sleep as soon as I turned the vibration on. If you feel like it's something you will use a lot, then keep it. If not, return it and get something you think you will use more! The great thing about play yards is that they break down when your finished with them and there portable for trips.

I'd return and get the pack n play you want. They last so much longer and are much more convenient

I didn't get a bassinet when I was pregnant with my 1st and we just used the pack n play in our room for the first couple of months before she moved into her crib. However, we are in a new house with this baby and our master bedroom is configured differently and I really wish I had a bassinet instead of pack n play this time so it won't take up as much space in our room. If you have a big room, a pack n play will work fine but if not, I'd keep that bassinet.

It's good to keep at a family members house if your going to visit alot or even keep in ur room or living room
