I need advice Bc my period is late by 6 days now. 

Here's the thing I was on birth control the pill for a little bit over a year now and I had started to slack up and just forget to take them all the time or whatever and one day I didn't have anymore so I had to wait for my doctors appointment which was a week later so I had no pills and then once I got em I just start taking them all at different times not the same time and I would still however forget about taking them sometimes. Next, I had started spotting for over a month during that time and I went to the doctors and they told me bc of me not taking the pill correctly so they prescribed me medicine to stop my period and told me to not take the pill until I get my next period. And now , here I am waiting for it to return and <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> says it's 6 days late. How long does it take for my period to come back once I've stopped taking the birth control pill????? Sooo....
