4 weeks early? Preclamsia? Not progressing and emergency c-section

Olivia
Well nothing went as planned and it was scary as hell for me and my family. I was 36 wks and just not feeling well at all. Pains in my stomach, bad headache and flushed cheeks. I went to the hospital and had slightly high BP and normal urine with a weird blood test of my liver. So they decided to do a 24 hr urine and have me come back tomorrow, Friday to have it checked. The protein in my urine went from 0 to 443 over 24 hrs and my BP was high with red cheeks, chest and arms. I was admitted immediately with preclamsia. Saturday morning they induced me. Put a balloon in me at 1cm dialated and it broke my water within 20 minutes. They started me at the highest amount of pitocin. My cramps weren't too bad except for in my butt! It felt like my daughter was seriously trying to come out of my butt! After 24 hrs I was still only 1cm dialated but my BP was getting worse as were the headaches and my urine was so thick it was like glue. They came in and said I had to get her out. That I wouldn't even make it another week. They said c-section and I lost it. I looked to my fiance completely lost as this was one thing I did not want. I was terrified. C-section it's self wasn't bad at all. But after it my health declined faster. They couldn't wake me up. I some how had gotten pneumonia, very low heart rate and higher BP. I held my daughter for maybe an hr that day, met with 5 doctor's and had a ton of family visit. But I don't remember. I wasn't awake. Everyone was scared and doctors were at a total loss. After about 20 hrs I woke up like nothing happened and began my recovery for surgery. It was rough but I'd do it all over again. My daughter was born at 5lbs and 9oz. 18 inches long and doctors were shocked by how perfectly healthy she was. After 5 days in the hospital I was able to go home with my baby. After 1 day at home I was able to move around just fine, go out and do errands and only be on ibuprofen instead of the oxys. For such a hard rough recovery right after my surgery I'm doing so amazing now. If you read my entire story thank you! Don't be scared of a c-section! I'd do it all over again. I was just one of the unlucky ones to have a bad 24 hr recovery following surgery.
