The last 3 times I have gone to the OB I have had very rushed visits. I'm 33 weeks now. The time before last someone went into labor, so I saw a medical student instead of the doctor, and then he came in at the end and handed me the glucose drink and sent me on my way. I understood that time because someone was in labor.. they obviously needed him more than I did. The next visit was my glucose test, and they had a student draw my blood and she missed and they had a medical assistant take it on the other arm and that didn't go well either. My time with the doctor was also very rushed that time as well.. Today I went in for a 9:30 appointment, and they didn't take me back until 9:45 then I waited about 20 minutes in the room and a medical student came in unsupervised and took my measurements and listened for his heart beat and left. She said the doctor would be right in. He came in a half hour later (an hour after my scheduled time) and made a comment about how it's almost the holidays and then told me I would be seeing him again in two weeks and started to head for the door.. I had to stop him to ask him about the bad heart burn I've been having and he stood in the door with it open and told me I could take medicine For it and then went to walk out again, and I said I'm sorry but really quick, do you have a reccomendation for a good pediatritian in the area? He told me to ask people at work or church or just basically hang out in toysRus and ask people there who they see... he was still standing in the door acting like he was in a hurry to get out of there so I didn't bring up the two other things I wanted to talk to him about. Has anyone else had experiences like this with their doctor? Is it normal for them not to ask any questions or update you with how things are going? He doesn't ask if I have any quiestions or educate me at all about what should be happening at this time in my pregnancy..  sorry for the long post but I'm not sure what to do.
