Negative urine test at doctors today? (9dpo)

Negative urine test at doctors today (9DPO) ?? I don't understand how I got these yesterday but then today they get a negative? It was a women's free clinic and it looked like they were using a dollar store test? She said she didn't know why my FRER picked up a red line… But that all she could say was that their test didn't and it was still very early and for me to come back in a week or two?
