Spinal tap with scheduled c-section

Having a scheduled c-section this time around and very very nervous about the spinal tap. Had an emergency c-section 8 years ago with my son but I had been in labor for so many hours and on so much pain medication I can hardly remember any of the experience, let alone the spinal tap part, which I've heard can be horrible. I also have a bulging disc in my back that pretty much runs my life at this point. I'm concerned it's going to hurt, I'm having serious anxiety about it making my disc issues worse, and I'm just scared overall! Has anyone had one before that could possibly provide me with some peace of mind? :(
