does anyone else's OB not do a. third tri scan?

I delivered my other three babies with a different practice. With them they did 10,20 and 32wk scans. I moved and am seeing a different practice. While scheduling my 32 week appointment I asked if I'd be having a scan and they said no. They only do them 2x. It confuses me, why are practices so different? I wish I knew how much my girl weighs (approximately anyways) I'm 34+4 now and swear she's 7lbs hahahahah

Mine doesn't do them either and it's super frustrating. I just wanna see my little boy and be able to know what he's weighs and what his positioning is:(

Mine won't do it until I go into labor so he can see the positioning. Babies can move so he prefers to see the day of to know what needs to be done for delivery.

If I was measuring really large he probably would to make sure baby isn't too big!!

Last time I seen my baby I was 20 weeks, and before that I had only seen her once. I am now 36 weeks and 3days. My dr will not be doing another scan.

My doctor only does 8 week and 20 (for normal pregnancies). I've had 5 ultrasounds all together tho (one was elective to find out gender at an ultrasound place, one was when I volunteered at a sonogram technical school, and the last time was to check placenta and cervix for bleeds).

My midwife's policy is one at 12 weeks and one at 20 weeks. If I'm measuring right and there are no complications I don't get another one unless I pay out of pocket for the 3D ultrasound (which I did).

I had one today and I'm 33 weeks and they did a growth scan.. I went in for my appointment and my belly was measuring at 36 weeks instead of 33 weeks. And they wanted to do an ultrasound to see if she was just measuring big or there wasn't too much fluid in there

We don't get one... we had an ultrasound at 7 weeks, 13 weeks, 20 weeks and 26. The 26 week us was a follow up to recheck her kidneys... otherwise we would have only had three. We will have one if I go over my due date to check fluids, but that is it.

I'm getting one, but only to check position because he's been stubborn about turning around. I think it's pretty common to not have any after your 20 week scan.

My OB only gave me one scan at 8 weeks. She said she only does another one if I wasn't measuring right but I always measure right on or a week ahead. I'm jelly of all these ladies who get 3rd trimester scans!
