My husband is the straight 5th Charles. However they were all given middle names and pretty much went by the middle name. Not wanting to break that streak we agreed that if we have a boy, we will go with Charles Brian (Brian being my father). But we can't settle on a girl name. I suggested Carolyn after his mother who passed a while ago, but he wants something different. And he shot down all the names I have tried so far. It has me wondering though, so often there are family tradition for boys names, but not so much for girls. Kinda hoping for a boy since that name came together so easily!!

Anyone have a family tradition for female names? Just curious!
