Birth Control Help!

So I've been on bc for about 3 months now. I skip the last week of every pack which are the sugar pills to completely eliminate periods but in the 3rd month I have had a light period everyday and it hasn't stopped for about 3 weeks now. Anyone have any idea of what might be going on?
