Yes you can or you can get pregnant right aftwr your period of your egg hasn't flushed out with your period

My period was late the first month and I still got it so I didn't think I was pregnant and then I missed it the next month and decided to take a test. I was already 6 weeks along when I finally found out

You absolutely CANNOT have a period while pregnant. It's not possible because having a period is shedding the lining of your uterus and if you shed that then a fetus cannot survive or have been implanted. HOWEVER, some women experience implantation bleeding, breakthrough bleeding etc throughout their pregnancy which can be mistaken for a period but it is not the same thing.
