What is a chemical pregnancy?

Hi, I have seen a number of people on here talking about a 'chemical pregnancy'. It is making me paranoid! How long can you have a 'chemical pregnancy' for and when do you know that it is a 'real' one? I am 7 weeks tomorrow and not feeling much at all, just mild cramping/bloating, weeing and burping lots! Delightful!

Chemical pregnancies normally happen every early on due to the egg not being healthy or implantation occurring incorrectly I think you out of the woods for a chemical pregnancy happening to you

Chemical pregnancies are pregnancies that didn't implant properly and happens before 6 weeks. Most of the time, the lines on hpts stay faint and bleeding will start around the time you'd expect AF to a week or so after.
