miscarriage at 5 weeks? TMI

I haven't yet been to the doctors but I'm wondering if any bodies had an early miscarriage and what it's looked like? thanks

I thought I miscarried 2 days ago... largish blood clot, followed by sporadic bleeding. Then yesterday it was full force. Today? Nothing... I woke up at 8am, nothing until about 20min ago... felt a flush in my pants. Ran to the bathroom and wiped and what looks like a 2in tapeworm - with a teeny tail. This photo looks very similar to what I have floating in a glass of water right now (ugh, I'm new to this, the pregnancy was TOTALLY unexpected (I'm 48, he's 53)...I'm just following directions I'm finding online :-/ ) -- I keep telling myself I'm being delusional thinking my weird body habits this past week were pregnancy and then... miscarriage :-(  But found your post and yeah... of course now I'm freaking out that maybe if I'd run to a doctor Tuesday morning or at least spent the day in bed vs trying to celebrate 4th July... maybe the baby still had a chance of survival? ugh... Please someone tell me this was out of my control... big holiday weekend meant lots of drinking I normally don't do. I felt sick Saturday, but never dreamed it was pregnancy at my age....

I had that same thing and the er said it was just a big blood clot and that I had small cysts on my ovaries and thats what caused the large blood clot. but just go to the doctor just in case.

I just had the same thing happen to me today, cramped hard all last night and into this morning and went to the bathroom and the same thing came out. Also have clots coming out as well. Scared to call the doctor. I’m sorry😰

I've had 9 misscarriages and two pregnancies, with all of them I bleed/clots heavy for a week at around 5 weeks. Only way to find out if you have miss carried or having a threatened misscarriage, is to go to the docs and have your bloods taken to check hcg level then the will do blood again after couple of days to see if they have risen then you may need to have an ultrasound. Good luck you can still have a viable pregnancy with bleeding 😊

I miscarried at 5 & a half weeks on 20th October & yes mine did look similar to that. I'm really sorry if that is what's happened 💜🌺
