Drunk called/ texted my ex

Last night was my roommates birthday so we went out and ended up getting super drunk, so I wasn't myself or maybe I was lol..  Sometimes I like to call my friends when im messed up (I don't know why) and I ended up calling my ex boyfriend we dated 2 years. He texted me back but I was just texting him about how I fell and acting extra sloppy. We ended on really bad terms when we broke up and I haven't talked to him or seen him in 4 months. Anyways I'm embarrassed but he's called me 3 times and I just don't know what to say or if I should even give him an explanation but something made me call him (tequila). Should I respond or just play dumb?
