dad's away for work

Any new mommy's SO go away for work? My boyfriend sometime goes a few days a week or even the whole week sometimes. He had to go away for work for 3 nights when she was only 6 days old, she's 5 weeks today and there has only been one week that he hasn't gone. Days when he's working near home he leaves at 5:30a and gets home at 6:30p. I'm not trying to sound selfish but I need him here more, him going away kills me, my depression gets really bad and I get discouraged when she's crying and I can't soothe her. Just looking for moms who may be in the same boat
