so I work as an unloaded/stocker for my job, is that at risk of a miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage in august and I don't know the reason for it, but since I unload and carry heavy items I was curious? Has anyone took a LOA (leave of absence) early in a pregnancy? Considering what job you have of course.

Majority of the time there is absolutely nothing any of us do to cause miscarriages, but heavy lifting is advised against during pregnancy. Tell your job you are pregnant and they should be able to put you on light duties. If they try to tell you that you can still lift heavy things while pregnant, go to your doctor and have them put it in writing for your employer that you should not be lifting heavy items for the duration of your pregnancy.
