Helping hubby gone wrong

Stephanie
My hubby got laid off November 2015. Hasn't had a job since. Has applied all over the country, at everything thats hiring regardless if it's in his experience or not. We have a 7 month daughter and I'm pregnant with baby number 2. As you can suspect, money is tight and hard as I'm not working and neither is he. We are currently on welfare and depending on my child tax that I receive for my daughter. Anyways, today he finally got an interview! The first interview since he got laid off! He was SO happy and I was happy for him. He has his interview bright and early in the morning so he had a shower, washed really nice clothes and started ironing his clothes. I was sitting on the couch as he was ironing his clothes. He seemed to be struggling and was physically getting frustrated. I walked over and offered to help him. I've been ironing my clothes since I was 7 years old, and I iron all my daughters clothes whenever they get washed. Anyways, he has one of his friends over, and as I'm ironing his friend looks at me and says "you're doing it wrong. How doesn't a woman know how to iron clothing?" I told him that I knew how, I don't need to listen to him and then I started to ignore him. Anyways, I was almost done ironing and my hubby walks over and said that he wanted his friend to do the rest of the ironing and then pass over what I already ironed. I asked why and he said because his friend is more experienced and he doesn't want me to make the wrinkles worst and them deny him a job because of his wrinkly shirt. EXCUSE ME?! I iron all of our families clothes, I was professionally taught. I went out of my way to offer to help him and when the shirt is PERFECTLY ironed and almost done he wants his friend to pass over it again and finish my work? Am I wrong to feel offended by this?
