How many oz does your baby eat?

My baby eats 6 6oz bottles a day. Is that too much? He's still on the smaller side. How much don your babies eat?

My girl will not take more than 3-4oz at a time! Driving me nuts!

My son is a terrible eater! He eats about 15oz a day and half a jar of baby food and that's it. He just won't eat more than that, and if I keep pushing him and forcing it he'll just spit it up. He was born 3 weeks early and very small, and slowly worked his way from the 20th percentile to the 48th. He's just a small dude and doesn't eat that much, but very, VERY active.

Each one is different. My son eats 6 oz and sometimes 8 every 3-4 hours. But I have a friend whose baby is 9 months and she still only eats 4 oz. just let them eat till they're full.

My daughter has four 6 or 8 oz bottles a day, plus three "meals" of baby food. Her bottle size depends on the last time she ate solids. She can finish the whole 4oz of baby food no problem! So she's really getting 36oz - 44oz of food a day between both.

From what I read baby should drink 24-32 ounces a day. The rule of thumb is 1-1.5 ounces every hour. I would check with your pediatrician if you are questioning that amount.

My son has 4 7oz bottles a day, but he's pretty much fully weaned now so gets a lot of his intake from food.

That's definitely not too much! My son eats about 10-12 4oz bottles a day. It's starting to slow down a tad now that he's on solids, but still.
