Why do women want their babies born early

Why do so many women want to have their babies weeks before their due date? It's proven that full term (after 39 weeks) babies are healthier. I get its uncomfortable but come on. We all know pregnancy is uncomfortable. Why rush it and risk your baby not having fully developed lungs or something
