Super long, I don't know how to summarize lol.

So, dh and I decided we don't want people at the hospital, largely due to how his parents were when his brother and wife had their son last year, they showed up right after the birth uninvited and called to tell me and hubby to meet them there, the brother was less than pleased to say the least, sil was still getting stitched up from tearing. And then they were there constantly for the next 2 days.

Hubby decided to tell his mom that we weren't having anyone to the hospital, wanted to be more considerate and give them a heads up, I was just not going to tell anyone until we were leaving the hospital. So now she's are arguing with us about it, she kept saying she wasn't a overbearing mil lol. And how it's not fair, how much my SIL appreciated her being there (which is so not true, SIL was not happy about them being there so often and long) and basically that we don't have the right to not tell them as soon as she's born. I'm expecting another fight in the next couple days, she hadn't told my fil yet. Luckily we didn't stay long after that. She also said that she would stay sober for the next 6-8 weeks 😂.

She also argued with my husband(I was still at work when they started the visit) about us having the baby shower before the baby, that a bunch of people aren't going to come because it's bad luck and why come if they don't get to meet baby.. I don't want people passing my baby around, most of the people would be her friends I've only met a few times. We planned on having small visits with people so no one gets overwhelmed and can actually visit. Now apparently she's having a huge meet and greet after... Didn't even ask, and I didn't want to argue with a drunk person so I didn't say anything..

There's a couple other things that annoyed me but those are the bigger ones atm that I am dealing with lol.

Now I have to make sure all my nurses know not to let anyone near my hospital room when the time comes, cuz I'm sure they will be driving by my house every day to see if we aren't home..
