Do you/would you have sex with your husband when your kids ages 8 & 6 are sleeping in the same room?

My husband and I lost our home last year. We have been living at my moms house to save money up. My husband and I share a room with our kids. I can't have sex with him if the kids are sleeping in the room. It's the biggest turn off. I have tried it before but I didn't enjoy it. I faked it for him. I can't do it any longer. I'm afraid my 8 year old is going to wake up and see us. 
There is nowhere else to have sex. 
The home we live in is small. Only 2 bedrooms. My mother is retired and sick so she hangs out in the living room until 3-4am. By that time, I am knocked out cold. I'm tired of quickies and bathroom sex.

My husband  doesn't understand and he gets frustrated. How can I make him understand?
I obviously know how important sex is in a marriage. HELP!

That is an undoubtable NO. And it's not just your older child you need to worry about - your six year old waking up to their parents having sex is also a large issue.
Sorry about your situation but you'll have to avoid doing anything in the bedroom and find another place and way.

I used to sleep in the same room as my parents. Once, I heard them having sex and I saw my dad moving... It was traumatising and... It was horrible, I couldn't fall asleep, neither could I go away because then they would have known I had heard them...
So yeah, having sex in the same room as your kids are sleeping is a bad idea. Maybe... go to a hotel one day? Or let the kids play at someone close's house?

I meant to say no, but clicked yes by accident 🙈. It is definitely not okay to expose your children to that. I won't even have sex in the same room as my 1 year old.

I clicked yes but meant to say no! I wouldn't be able to! That's just too creepy to me. Maybe you need to try to sit them down with a movie or homework and lock the bathroom door for a quickie or something. Not ideal but you gotta make the best of the situation sometimes

I clicked on yes by accident, but meant as a no. I know it must be hard but I'm sure your husband understands due to the circumstances. I couldn't do it with my daughter in the room. Even when she was younger (she's 9 now) I would feel uncomfortable and even if she didn't know exactly what sex is she would have some idea it's a "nasty" thing.

This is not OK. You are risking exposing your children to sex at a very early age. That can cause all sorts of issues in the future, such as sex addiction or pornography addiction, etc.… It's just a really bad idea! I recommend going on a few dates a week where you can drive to a nice secluded area and baff your brains out freely.

Its definately not acceptable to have sex in the same room as your children at this age. You will have to find alternative options such as outside or car if you have one.
