Talking to older women

So I'm 39+4 and older women keep trying to tell me that I've been pregnant for too long!? Like I'm not supposed to go past 36 weeks. I keep trying to tell that the now in "today's time" 40 weeks is considered "full term" but I can have the baby any day now. I just hate how older women feel that everything should be the same as when they had children 20 or 30 years ago
