why is my baby taking so long 😩

5 days overdue now, growing a little impatient I've tried everything I really don't want to be induced and I've got so many family members asking me why like my body has failed me 😩😩

I was just like you! I had no pains my whole pregnancy, and when my due date came and went, I started to think my body didn't know what to do next. Sure enough though, my boy was born 8 days late and I only had a 6 hour labor!! I was going to be induced 2 days after he came, but he wanted to do it all on his own. Turns out my body knew exactly what to do!! I just had to wait 😊 enjoy your last few days before he's here!

That's why due dates are the worst!  Remember that they only give a broad average time of when baby could come,  but it is expected for there to be a window of two weeks on both sides of that date for your body to naturally respond - a "due month".  You're still well within your window of time! It is no less efficient than a woman who goes into labor a week early,  if you think about it that way.  Just hold tight a few more days - he's probably coming very very soon!!!!!
