Anyone with a young child feel like no one cares about their loss?

I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage yesterday. D&C is scheduled for the day before thanksging 😞 (Wednesday). I have a 9 month old baby and it seems like as soon as I mention that to people I get the "oh" (like oh you're okay then, you have a baby tone). No one seems to realize this is a much wanted baby that I'm losing. And don't let me mention this would have been baby #4. Then I'm treated like I'm just being greedy.

It doesn't matter if it would have been baby #10. The desire for the child you lost is not greed. You are hurt. Ignore them. Your sadness is 100 %  justified and people are just stupid sometimes. If it helps any, I understand how you feel and I care that you lost your baby. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had a son in January and had a miscarriage in July. My mother-in-law told me "At least you can get pregnant." I really wanted to smack her.

I completely understand your feelings!  We miscarried this morning. As the nurse was giving me my discharge papers she asked if we had any other children. I responded that we had a boy and a girl. Her response, "Well good. At least you can be happy with that!"  Ugh!

It's still hard no matter if you have other kids or not your in the right to feel sad it's a horrible thing to go through best of luck to you! People are horrible sometimes only two people. Out of my entire family and friends from my side were supportive when we had our mc last month my so called best friend completely ignored me for a month after I told her people just don't know how to react or don't care it's sad :(
