OTC home sperm fertile test

Has anyone ever used the at home sperm fertility tests? I'm just curious as to how accurate they are. My husband wants to try them, but he has had 2 children before with his ex wife. We've been trying for a baby (my first) with no luck. I personally feel like it's me and a waste for him to test. Partially think he just says it could be him so I don't feel so sad I can't give him a baby. Should we try the at home test or just both of us go to a doctor?
