Menstrual Cup Advice Please!!!

Okay, so I've been thinking about purchasing a menstrual cup. I don't know anything about it besides the obvious fact that it catches the fluid. Could someone explain how exactly it works and anything else I should know about it. I'm just tired of having to pay so much for feminine products. It all adds up. Thank you in advance!!!😊
