So in Australia we have the choice to undertake a blood test which I think cost $150 approx or/and an ultrasound costing $400+ together. This allows us future parents to be alert if our baby has any disabilities or genetic disorders as well as determining the gender of the baby due to identification of chromosomes for those who don't know... My question is for this blood test will they have to insert a big syringe through my belly and into the baby?
