confused.......
My older sister is 18 and got engaged recently. She has been with her boyfriend since freshmen year and they are both seniors now. When our mom found out, she started saying that their relationship wasn't mature and that it wouldn't work out and she wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work out. And then she started judging her about how she wasn't even with her boyfriend that long enough for that to be okay. Hearing that part just made me confused though since our mom just got remarried with a man she's been dating for 6 months.....

No my mother is not mature. She had my older sister at 15, and me at 17. She doesn't have a job since she doesn't think she needs one since my sister and I have jobs. She uses our money to buy cigarettes, and when we catch her and take our money back she throws a tantrum like a child. The guy she married doesn't even have a job, so my sister and I have to support everyone in the house. Age doesn't always equal maturity. They're at 2 different points in life, but I'm sure my 18 year old sister who has to help support a whole family is more mature than an older women who only had us because she thought babies were cute, and she wants another child just because of it.
