2 Periods in one month????

I started my period last week Monday and ended up having unprotected sex last thursday and took the plan b that friday. Today, I woke up and was spotting lightly which I assumed was a normal side effect of the pill. But the blood got a lot heavier and began to look like my regular flow. Is it possible to have a second period within the same month due to the plan b pill?
