Me and my s.o were at Safeway (grocery store). There's a man that works there who has mental disabilities. Some boys from the high school across from the store came by after school and were making fun of him... They were calling him retarded (and some other very rude names), pulling on his apron... While he was putting away shopping carts, the boys kept physically pushing him and trying to take the carts from him. The man was literally CRYING and begging them to leave him alone because they were being such bullies! I went over to the boys and I yelled at them about their manners, basically told them if they didn't stop harassing him, I'd call the cops.. My s.o got mad at me and said I should've minded my own business.... Was I wrong for butting in and yelling at the boys? I just couldn't take it anymore. I felt so damn bad! I have cousins who are autistic and if anyone ever treated them like that, I would've literally attacked them...
