Peppermint essential oil roll on safe?

I am almost 5 weeks. I have seen conflicting things. I have a doterra peppermint roll on. Is that still okay to use for nausea and upset stomach?

I was told you can put it on anywhere except your belly. It can cause contractions to start. I sucked on peppermint for 3 months to help with my nausea and it really helped. Also put peppermint oil on wrists.

I put some in my humidifier sometimes or in my homemade all purpose cleaner.

Inhaling is perfectly fine. I didn't put any oils on me the first trimester.

I work for a major essential oils company and I have been told and had others experience that peppermint is not good for pregnancy, also it is not good when you are breast feeding if you are planning to cause it will dry up your milk supply. I would stick to ginger and lemon tea if you have those oils. Very good for nausea ;)
