3.5 weeks from D-day and panic is starting to set in. This pregnancy was not planned, in fact I'd told my husband back in February that I thought I could wait another 10 years before we started having kids, only half joking. 10 years turned to 10 months and baby boy is due on Dec. 18th.

Everyone keeps asking if I'm ready, and quite honestly the answer is "No." I'm nervous, terrified that I'll be a bad mom, feeling ill equipped to handle raising a child from birth to adulthood.

We have everything we need, and his room is all set up, so the preparations are done. But do you ever really feel "ready"?

Here's to hoping that my maternal instincts kick in at the hospital. 🍸
